2022 KanSPRA Member Awards

Each year, the KanSPRA Board accepts nominations for awards recognizing active members for their professional contributions and talents. The Newcomer Award celebrates those that have been employed in School PR for less than 24 months at the time of the nomination deadline. The Distinguished Service Award celebrates those that have been employed for at least five years. 

This year, a third award will be presented. The Sunflower Award honors those members whom exemplify exceptional service at any point of their careers, exhibited professionalism in the past year in support of school communications and/or KanSPRA, and show ongoing interest in sharing their journey and success with others.

Please submit nominations for any one (or all) of the awards categories by Friday, September 30, 2022. Awards will be presented at the Fall Annual Conference in Maize, Kansas, October 20-21, 2022.
