Membership Information

By becoming a member of KanSPRA, you will enjoy the benefits of a statewide professional network dedicated to strengthening public education – and communities – in Kansas. 

NEW MEMBERS

Sign up and complete your KanSPRA membership payment through the USA-Kansas platform.

1. Go to https://usakansas.wildapricot.org/membership.
2. Select State Membership only Non-USA Variable.
3. Enter your district email address.
4. Complete the profile information.
5. Select KanSPRA $40.00 (USD) to join as an individual member.
1. Your membership will renew annually on August 1, regardless of anniversary date of joining the organization. 
2. If you are joining as part of a team of 3 or more, your department director should contact the KanSPRA Membership Chair for more information.
6. Continue to payment.
7. KanSPRA Membership Chair is notified of new and renewing members weekly from August - October. If you have joined during any other month, email the KanSPRA Membership Chair to let them know your new member status so you can start receiving information immediately.
1. The Membership Chair will create a new profile for you in the KanSPRA database once that notification is received so that you have access to all the member resources. 

Renewing Members

You will receive a letter of renewal in the mail from USA-Kansas, typically in July. KanSPRA will also send an email reminder to all members at the beginning of August. If you need to mail a check for payment, those should be sent to USA-Kansas and include the name of the member(s) in the memo line.  To renew online using a credit card, follow the instructions below.

For organizations that renew under the Institutional Membership - 3 or More ($100.00), only one person from the team will need to complete the online renewal process. 

1. Go to https://usakansas.wildapricot.org/membership.
2. You should already have a USA account if you have been a KanSPRA member, so log in with your email and password (use the "Forgot password" link if you don't remember this info.)
3. Click on membership.
4. Click on the Renew to 01 Aug  button.
1. If your organization is also part of the Professional Learning Network (PLN) that USA-Kansas offers, your option to renew online may work slightly different. If you do not see an option to renew or a message that says your membership status has changed, contact Sara Warnow from USA-Kansas at to resolve the situation. 
5. Complete the membership renewal information and confirm membership and payment.
1. If you are completing the renewal on behalf of other team members through the Institutional Membership option, email Sara Warnow to notify her of the other covered team members. This step is crucial so that the KanSPRA team knows which members have renewed each fall.
