We are thrilled to announce that registration is open for the KanSPRA Fall Conference!

Active KanSPRA members whose district will not financially support their participation in KanSPRA Fall Conference are invited to submit an application for a scholarship to have their conference registration fee waived and up to at least $100 of reimbursements to help cover travel expenses, such as hotel costs and/or Friday lunch cost, incurred.

Introducing a special HR Professionals Track at

KanSPRA Fall Conference


KanSPRA is inviting Kansas school HR colleagues to join in learning at a special HR Professionals Track on Thursday, Oct. 20 during KanSPRA Fall Conference in Maize, Kansas.

The track is from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. that day and includes the following:

  • Keynote Speaker and NSPRA President-Elect Cathy Kedjidjian, APR's general session HR-PR Partnerships: Find the Connections that Help You Create a Culture of Staff Support.
  • Catered lunch.
  • Breakout session with a Kansas Association of School Board (KASB) attorney, who will offer communications-related legal guidance.
